For parents
What school doesn't teach, taught safely.
Confidence, speaking, discipline, money basics and leadership: the skills that help teens succeed, drawn from self-made founders, executives and research. Five minutes a day, built for ages 13 and up.
What your teen learns
Skills that help them succeed.
- Speaking up in class and interviews
- Money basics: saving, compounding, avoiding debt traps
- Discipline: habits, focus, sleep
- Good decisions when it counts
- Confidence that survives a setback
Screen time, well spent
Five minutes of their scroll time.
They've watched hundreds of videos and kept almost none of it. MASTRD is only the ideas that matter: five minutes of practice they're tested on, and refreshers that keep bringing each idea back. Lessons meant for adults are never shown to under-18s, and the relationships track is opt-in and 16+.
Safety
Six rules we don't bend.
-
No open community
There is no public feed and no way for strangers to find or message your teen. Circles are private groups of up to 12 people who know each other.
-
You approve the circle
Ages 13 to 15: you approve who your teen sees. Ages 16 and 17: you approve the circle. Approvals happen in your own MASTRD app, linked to your teen's.
-
Profiles stay in the circle
Under 18, photos and personal details are visible only to your teen's circle. For 13 to 15, the whole profile is.
-
Preset reactions only
Members react and nudge with preset buttons, not free-text messages.
-
No ads
There are no ads in MASTRD, and nothing about your teen is shared with advertisers.
-
Share cards carry nothing personal
When your teen shares an idea or a streak, the card never shows a name, photo, circle, school or place.
Buying
You stay in control.
Your teen can try a full lesson for free, and the annual plan starts with a free week. To subscribe, an under-18 sees a screen meant for a parent. Turn on Ask to Buy in Family Sharing and nothing is charged unless you approve it. With it off, a teen with their own payment method can subscribe directly; the app asks them to show a parent first.
Family Sharing is included on both plans, so one subscription covers your household. The parent dashboard is part of the app: link your teen, see their streak and what they are learning, and approve their circles.
Money lessons
Education, not tips.
The money track teaches saving, budgeting, compounding and the safe basics, such as savings accounts and index funds, as education. It never gives trading tips, crypto or stock picks, and it makes no promises about what anyone will earn.
Data
What we collect.
MASTRD works without an account. With one, we keep only what the app needs, and ages 13 to 15 send no product analytics, only lesson review logs that help us improve lessons; turn off Help improve lessons in Profile to send no usage data. No analytics or advertising company receives anything that identifies your teen; if they installed from an ad, Apple's private attribution tells the ad network only that an install happened. Audio from Speak it never leaves the iPhone. Read the privacy policy for the details.
Try it before they do.
On the annual plan: a free week, then under 20 cents a day.
Coming to the App Store
Take the first lesson yourself. It's free, takes five minutes and needs no account.
